"Trickling fill" can refer to either a type of cooling tower fill designed for polluted water or a water delivery system that uses a small, consistent flow. In cooling towers, it features an open, grid-like structure that prevents clogging and offers high thermal performance in challenging water conditions. As an irrigation system, it delivers water slowly and consistently to a storage pond, improving water efficiency and stream health compared to on-demand systems.
