Product Introduction
Cooling tower packing is the filling material inside the cooling tower used to enhance the efficiency of heat and mass exchange between air and water. Its function is to achieve heat transfer by expanding the contact area and prolonging the cooling water path.
The filler material is mainly PVC or PP. It adopts a trapezoidal wave design to increase the heat dissipation area. It has high-temperature resistance and flame retardancy, and the applicable temperature range can reach -20℃ to 60℃.
In cross-flow cooling towers, air and water flow at a 90° Angle to complete heat transfer. The inclined interlaced packing is designed with a 60° inclination Angle to be suitable for counter-flow cooling towers.
The packing needs to be replaced every four years to maintain efficiency. Aging can lead to a decline in heat exchange capacity or even clog the condenser.
Fillers are widely used in power plants, industrial water cooling and air conditioning systems. Installation must ensure a flat surface and a bonding rate of over 90%.
