Structural diagram description

 

Inside the tower body are heat exchangers, which can be made of copper tubes, stainless steel tubes or carbon steel tubes. Each heat exchanger has two interfaces. The upper interface is the water inlet, and the lower interface is the water outlet, which are respectively connected to the inlet and outlet pipelines of the external process fluid.

During the closed flow through the heat exchanger, the fluid dissipates heat to the outside through the tube wall of the heat exchange tube without direct contact with the outside. The upper part of the heat exchanger is the packing, also known as the heat sink. Its function is to lower the temperature of the spray water and ensure that the spray water is sprayed more evenly on the heat exchanger.

The bottom of the equipment is the water pan. The water pump draws the spray water from the pan and sprays it onto the surface of the upper heat exchanger. The spray water undergoes heat dissipation on the surface of the heat exchanger and eventually flows back to the water pan, forming a spray water circulation.

Throughout the entire process, the fan at the top of the tower continuously draws air from the inside of the tower to the outside. Fresh air replenishes cold air into the tower through the air intake window between the heat exchanger and the base, forming a fresh air circulation.
