Its function is to intercept the tiny water droplets carried in the discharged air flow, significantly reducing water leakage and the escape of circulating water chemicals. It has multiple benefits including water conservation, environmental protection, and cost reduction in operation.
Inertial separation:
The foggy airflow passes through the tortuous flow path of the water separator and is forced to make multiple turns; water droplets, which are much heavier than air, cannot change direction synchronously due to inertia and collide with the plate wall, then coalesce into a water film and flow back downward towards the bottom collection tank along the hydrophilic plate; the purified air is then discharged outside the tower. The efficient water separator can control the water loss rate to be below 0.005% (much better than the 0.2%–0.3% without installation).
